Horse Run In Specifications
Every Horse Run In is constructed with a sturdy wood frame for the walls and roof on the inside, and 29 gauge steel with a 40-year guarantee on the outside. As shown in the picture below, each Horse Run In has the following measurements:
- 10′ height at the top of the 2′ overhang
- 8′ height at the top of the stall front/entry
- 7′ height at the top of the rear wall
For comparison purposes, an average size horse (like Sierra, shown below) fits very comfortably in a 10’x16′ Horse Run In with one or two pasture mates.

Horse Run In Delivery
We offer free delivery of any 10′ wide Horse Run In within 50 miles of any of the Avery Building & Barns dealer locations as well as the Factory in Colon, MI. If your delivery location is within any of the red circles shown on the map below, you qualify for free delivery! (Click or tap the map to see a larger version.)
Due to MDOT regulations, delivery is free for 12′ wide Horse Run Ins only within 50 miles of the Factory in Colon, MI. (Click or tap the map to see a larger version.)

Your Horse Run In will arrive loaded on a trailer specially designed for use with portable buildings. Once unloaded from the trailer, we use a smaller piece of equipment we call a “mule” and a set of dolly wheels to move the shelter to its intended placement location on your property.
